The festival has run in Hobart since 1988 and centres on Tasmanian produce, makers and artisans. It was formerly known as Taste of Tasmania and now trades as Taste of Summer.
The 2026-27 edition opens at midday on Sunday 27 December 2026 and closes at 10:30 pm on Sunday 3 January 2027, according to the City of Hobart listing. A music programme runs alongside the food stalls.
