The organiser's site names the race as Australia's Abbott World Marathon Major, presented by ASICS with TCS as title sponsor. The next race is listed as 29.08.2027, and a 2027 ballot is advertised for entry.
Runners cross the Harbour Bridge and finish at the Opera House. The site also promotes a 5km Mini Marathon called Sydney's Best 5km. The organiser's sign-up page says the 2027 ballot has closed and lists an entry fee of AUD 280 for domestic applicants if drawn.
